What is Gripi, and how can I get started?

I’ll give you a quick tour and the shortest path to a local installation.

Gripi is a desktop and web portal for Pi, powered by a self-hosted gateway. Run the gateway on your development machine or home server, then use your existing Pi projects and sessions from the desktop app or a browser.
Pi stays Pi: Gripi does not alter Pi’s system prompt, patch Pi, install extensions, rewrite sessions, or change Pi-owned configuration. This static demo lets you explore session navigation, settings, streamed responses, and tool activity. Prompts stay in this browser, and all Pi or gateway behavior is simulated.

Clone and start Gripi with these commands. Setup prints the admin password used to approve your browser, then Gripi is available at http://localhost:4567.
